Meerut Accident Video: A video of a speeding SUV has surfaced on social media where the vehicle can be seen going out of control and overturning on a street in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut. According to reports, the vehicle killed a ballon-seller seated on the pavement. Besides, five other people have also been seriously injured in the accident. Soon after the accident, three people successfully fled the spot, while one was caught.

The people beat up the young man and vandalized the Scorpio.

Soon after getting the information, police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to the district hospital. According to reports, liquor boxes and other items have been found in the scorpio.

Firstly, the vehicle hit two people in front of Das Motor. After this, the vehicle went a little further and hit two other youths. After that, the Scorpio rider increased the speed, and an old man selling balloons came in front of the vehicle. 

Sadar Shashank, a police official, reached the spot and admitted the seriously injured and the ballon seller to the district hospital, who was declared dead. The remaining four injured were taken to a private hospital by their relatives. Anubhav, who was caught, was admitted to the district hospital.

A case has been registered against five in connection with the case. "We have registered a case of culpable homicide against five people in connection with this accident. The driver of the Scorpio is also injured and is undergoing treatment in the hospital. We are making efforts to arrest the other accused, and they will be arrested soon," Sub Inspector of Police in Meerut Piyush Singh was quoted by India Today.
