Uttarakhand Rain: Torrential rain lashed the Uttarkashi district on Thursday night, leading to a devastating flood in the Yamuna river and causing widespread destruction in the region. The Yamuna river breached its embankments near the Yamunotri Dham, washing away the safety wall of the bridge connecting the famous Yamunotri temple.
