Vaishno Devi Havan Booking: In a move to fulfil the long-standing desire of countless pilgrims, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) has officially announced the opening of a dedicated ‘havan facility’ at the holy shrine. This new facility will allow devotees to perform ‘havan or yagna’ directly within the shrine premises.

The shrine board constructed a large Yagyashala in the Mata Bhavan complex years ago. For many years, the facility was used by the board to organise Goddess Chandi Yagya during the Chaitra and Sharadiya Navratras. The Yagya drew thousands of devotees from across the nation.

However, until the recent announcement, the Yagyashala did not offer dedicated facilities for pilgrims to conduct their own private havan or yagna. The shrine board has now made the havan-yagna facility available for devotees, with a fee. Pilgrims wishing to perform Havan can book their slot either online through the official channels or through offline counters.
