Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to flag off the Saharsa–New Delhi Amrit Bharat Express from Madhubani on April 24. This will be the second Amrit Bharat train in Bihar and is expected to run via Darbhanga and Sitamarhi. Additionally, a Vande Bharat Express train will also run from Saharsa to Delhi, following a different route.
Samastipur Railway Division has started preparations to run Vande Bharat Express from Saharsa station. Efforts are being made to develop infrastructure for the maintenance of Vande Bharat train. The senior divisional electrical engineering department has expedited the work regarding this.
Vande Bharat To Run Via Muzaffarpur
The Vande Bharat train will be operated from Saharsa to New Delhi via Muzaffarpur. Its time table will be released after the preparations are complete. The train will take only 13 hours to reach Delhi from Muzaffarpur. This train will depart from Saharsa and reach New Delhi via Barauni, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Pataliputra, DDU, Lucknow.

The upcoming launch of Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains from Saharsa is great news for Bihar. These services promise faster, more comfortable travel and are a big step toward modernizing the railways in eastern India.
