Voter Adhikar Yatra Stopped: The Voter Adhikar Yatra, which was led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over the past 14 days, did not end well as the organisers had anticipated. The ‘Gandhi se Ambedkar’ march which marked the culmination of the Voter Adhikar Yatra was stopped midway on Monday, leading to a fierce backlash from the Opposition against the alleged attempt of the ruling government to disturb the yatra.

“The EC keeps getting news planted through its sources that no complaints are coming from any political party. The truth is that the Congress submitted 89 lakh complaints pertaining to irregularities in the SIR to the EC,” Congress leader Pawan Khera said in a statement after the yatra was stopped on Monday.
