Weather Alert: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will remain cloudy for the next one week and light rain is likely to lash parts of Delhi. The IMD has urged residents to stay alert due to changing weather conditions. On Friday, several areas in the national capital witnessed showers with the weather body issuing a 'yellow alert'.
The sky will remain cloudy with very light to light rain on Saturday, July 19. The maximum temperature is expected to be 35 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature is likely to be 24 degrees Celsius.

Delhi's Maximum Temperature Recorded At 34.3 Degree Celsius
On Friday, the maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 34.3 degrees Celsius which is 0.9 degrees Celsius below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 23.6 degrees Celsius which is 3.6 degrees Celsius below normal. Between 8:30 am and 5 pm, Delhi received 8.7 mm rainfall.

During this time, wind blew at a speed of 20 to 25 km per hour. The maximum rainfall of 10.2 mm was recorded at Lodhi Road and 9.5 mm in Rajghat. Delhi saw rain activity on Thursday as well.
Palam Received Highest Rainfall
In the last 24 hours, between 8:30 am on Thursday and 8:30 am on Friday, Palam received the highest rainfall of 17.2 mm while Najafgarh received 13.5 mm rainfall. Delhi has received 118.8 mm rainfall so far this month, which is 2 mm more than the normal (116.8) mm.
