Weather Forecast: Cold conditions are tightening their grip on North India, with minimum temperatures dipping into single digits across Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. Even as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issue a heavy rain alert for South India, North India is bracing for a further rise in cold and fog over the coming days.

Fog To Prevail In Delhi-NCR

Light to moderate fog is expected in Delhi-NCR this morning. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 26-28 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 9-12 degrees Celsius. Temperatures in Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh have dropped below freezing, further intensifying the cold.

Cold wave conditions may develop in some parts of Punjab and Rajasthan. Temperatures are also dropping in the Gangetic plains, such as West Bengal, Bihar, and Odisha.

Heavy Rain Alert In South India

Heavy to very heavy rainfall and strong winds (up to 100 km/h) are expected along the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh. The IMD has issued an alert for these areas for the next three days starting November 28.

Rajasthan Weather

Light rain is forecast in some districts of Rajasthan. Most parts of Rajasthan will experience mainly clear and sunny weather during the day. However, some districts, such as Jalore, Sirohi, Pali, Udaipur, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, and Ajmer, are expected to experience cloudy skies and isolated light rain or drizzle on Friday. Nighttime temperatures will increase, with minimum temperatures expected to hover around 8-10 degrees Celsius.

Haryana, Punjab Weather

The weather in Punjab will be mostly clear and sunny today. Fog is possible in some areas in the morning. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 22 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 7 degrees Celsius. The daytime weather in Haryana will be mostly clear and sunny. Mist or light fog is possible in the morning and evening. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 24 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around degrees Celsius.

Minimum Temp In Himachal Reaches 0 Degrees Celsius

The weather in Himachal Pradesh will be generally clear and sunny. It will be colder in the hilly areas, with minimum temperatures likely to drop to or below 0 degrees Celsius. In cities like Shimla, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 13 degrees Celsius.
