Weather Forecast: The plains of northern India, including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab, will be directly affected by the ongoing snowfall in Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir. Severe cold, dense fog, and cold wave conditions persist in Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh.
Delhi And Punjab Weather
Dense fog enveloped Delhi on Friday morning, and the minimum temperature dropped. IMD has issued a yellow alert for cold wave conditions in some parts of Delhi. Severe cold wave conditions persist in many parts of Punjab and Haryana. The minimum temperature in Adampur, Punjab, dropped to 2.4 degrees Celsius.
Kashmir And Himachal Weather
Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are experiencing severe cold. Snowfall has begun in the hill states. Temperatures have dropped below the freezing point (zero degrees Celsius) in many parts of Kashmir. Similar conditions prevail in upper reaches of Himachal Pradesh.
A fresh western disturbance may cause light to moderate rain and snowfall in the upper reaches of Jammu and Kashmir. Light rain and snowfall may occur in the upper reaches of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Cold Wave In Parts Of Rajasthan
IMD has forecast cold wave conditions to continue for the next few days in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and parts of northern Rajasthan. Dense fog may also affect some areas of Himachal Pradesh. Cold wave conditions are also possible in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and parts of Rajasthan.
Light Fog In Madhya Pradesh
Moderate to light fog continues to prevail in Bihar, Odisha, eastern Uttar Pradesh, and western Madhya Pradesh.
