Bengaluru Weather: Bengaluru is set for a change in weather as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a partly cloudy day following recent rainfall in the city. On Wednesday, temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of around 35 degrees Celsius, with the minimum settling at approximately 22 degrees Celsius. From April 10 to 13, residents can anticipate continuous rainfall across the region.
The IMD has issued a 'Yellow' alert for several districts in Karnataka, including Kodagu, Dakshin Kannada, Hassan, Chikmagalur, Udupi and Uttara Kannada, highlighting the potential for significant rain.
Bengaluru 5-Day Weather Forecast
April 10: The day will see a reduction in sunshine as clouds fill the sky, with light rain expected throughout the day.
April 11: Temperatures may dip slightly, with a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius. The cloudy weather will continue, accompanied by light rain.
April 12: Cooler temperatures will persist, ranging between 21 and 33 degrees Celsius. Another day of light rain is anticipated under a generally cloudy sky.
April 13: Rainfall will continue, with temperatures remaining stable between 21 and 33 degrees Celsius.
April 14: The weather will begin to clear, allowing some sunshine to return. Expect a partly cloudy sky with stable temperatures.
Bengaluru Temperature To Drop
The IMD also notes that after the recent showers, maximum temperatures are likely to drop to around 33 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures will hover around 21 degrees.
Karnataka Weather Forecast
Rain is forecasted across many districts in Karnataka until April 13. Areas likely to receive scattered showers include Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Belagavi, Bagalkot, Dharwad and several others, including Bengaluru City and Rural.
In coastal Karnataka, temperatures have risen by 1.6 to 3 degrees Celsius above normal, with Kalaburagi recording the highest temperature at 42.2 degrees Celsius. This extreme heat has led to drying lakes and ponds, creating water shortages for both residents and livestock. Farmers are facing challenges in animal husbandry due to a lack of water and fodder.

Karnataka Weather Forecast April 9
On Wednesday, April 9, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected in 15 districts, including Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, north interior Belgaum, Haveri, Gadag, Bagalkot, Dharwad, south interior Shimoga, Hassan, Kodagu, Mysore, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga and Davangere districts. The Bengaluru Meteorological Centre reports that rain is likely to occur intermittently from April 9 through April 14, providing some relief from the ongoing heat.
