Weather News: The India Meteorological Department has issued a warning of "very heavy rainfall" for the Western Himalayan region and northeast India over the next six days. This includes Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and others.
According to the latest bulletin, "Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely over the Western Himalayan region and adjoining plains of northwest India today, with a decrease expected thereafter." Isolated heavy rainfall is also predicted over northeast and east India for the next seven days, as well as over Kerala, Tamil Nadu and North Interior Karnataka for the next five days.
Weather Update Today: Rajasthan, HP, Uttarakhand, UP To See Rain Till August 17
In the northwest, isolated heavy rainfall is expected in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh from August 12 to 17. Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad are also likely to experience heavy showers on August 12 and from August 14 to 17. West Rajasthan and Haryana-Chandigarh are expected to see heavy rainfall from August 12 to 14 and 12 to 15, respectively.
Weather News: Heavy Rain In Bengal, Sikkim, Manipur From August 11 To 17
The east and northeast regions are also set to receive isolated heavy rainfall, with Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and Bihar likely to be affected from August 11 to 17. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Gangetic West Bengal are also expected to experience heavy downpours during this period.

Weather News: TN, Mahe, Kerala To Witness Heavy Rain From August 12 to 15
In the south, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu and North Interior Karnataka are likely to see isolated heavy rainfall from August 12 to 15, with the possibility of very heavy rainfall in Tamil Nadu on August 14 and 15 and in Kerala and Mahe on August 13 and 14.
