The monsoon is quite active in the country, with heavy rains prevailing in various regions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for light to moderate rainfall in the capital city of Delhi for the next three days. There is also a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in Delhi today.

The maximum temperature can reach up to 38 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be around 29 degrees Celsius. There might be light to moderate rainfall on July 31 as well, with the possibility of heavy rain in some areas. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert from July 30 to August 1. From August 2 to 4, the sky will remain cloudy with the possibility of light rain.

According to the IMD, July is now moving towards normal rainfall. Although rainfall has decreased over the past two days, moderate rainfall between July 22 and 26 has significantly reduced this deficit. In Uttar Pradesh's capital, Lucknow, the nighttime temperature has risen considerably, reaching up to 30 degrees Celsius.

In Himachal Pradesh's Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla, and Sirmaur districts, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at one or two places on Tuesday. Meanwhile, intermittent heavy rainfall continues in many parts of Madhya Pradesh, with rain expected today as well. As for Bihar, several districts have witnessed less rainfall this monsoon season.

Additionally, rainfall is continuing in Rajasthan, with the highest amount of 166 millimetres recorded in Arnod, Pratapgarh, over the past 24 hours. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, light to moderate rain with thunderstorms has occurred at some places in Rajasthan in the last 24 hours.

According to the meteorological department, there is a possibility of very heavy rainfall in different areas of Saurashtra and Kutch today. Additionally, on August 1, very heavy rainfall is expected in Konkan and Goa; on July 31 and August 2, in eastern Madhya Pradesh; on August 1 and 2, in central Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh; and on August 2, in various areas of western Madhya Pradesh.

From July 30 to August 2, heavy rainfall is forecasted at different locations in Konkan and Goa, central Maharashtra, Gujarat, and western Madhya Pradesh. Also, from today until August 2, there is a chance of heavy rainfall in eastern Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, and on August 1 and 2, in Vidarbha.
