Intense monsoon rains have caused widespread havoc across several districts in the country, severely impacting daily life and leading to loss of life and property. Waterlogging, traffic snarls, and crop destruction have been reported in multiple regions.
In Maharashtra's Marathwada region, six people lost their lives in rain-related incidents on Tuesday, as per Jagran.com. Four people drowned, one was electrocuted and another died due to a falling of a tree in Mumbai. The heavy rains have triggered flood-like situations in Nanded and Beed districts, while other areas in the region are also grappling with severe waterlogging.
