Weather Update:  In its most recent morning bulletin, the India Meteorological Department warned that today (November 4, 2024) there will be moderate showers, thunderstorms, and lightning in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, South Interior Karnataka, and Mahe. On November 7, it may reach Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema. Furthermore, on November 5 and 6, comparable weather patterns are anticipated in Tripura, Mizoram, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Manipur.

The Met Department forecasts scattered heavy rainfall over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on November 5 and 6. Moderate to dense fog is expected to envelop the northeast of Uttar Pradesh in the early morning of November 4.

Weather In North, Central India

The minimum and maximum temperatures in North and Central India are expected to remain stable during the next three to four days. The Delhi Weather Department has forecast a clear sky with fluctuating surface winds. Light haze and shallow fog are forecast in the national capital early in the morning and late at night.

Delhi's Air Quality

On Sunday, Delhi's air quality reached the highest overall AQI of 382. According to the most recent data, some stations reported AQI levels of greater than 400 and indicated "severe category".

The city also recorded the lowest temperature of the season at night, as dense fog and haze blanketed the area in the morning and evening. The weather forecast for Monday predicts light fog in the morning, with maximum and lowest temperatures of roughly 34 and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively.
