Amid the ongoing speculation surrounding the political future of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has extended a warm welcome to JMM leader, inviting him to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) fold. In a post on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Manjhi described Soren as a "tiger" and said that he was and will "remain a tiger." "Champai da, you were a tiger, you are a tiger and you will remain a tiger. Welcome to the NDA family," Manjhi wrote.

On Friday, some media reports claimed that he could potentially join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections. However, Soren himself dismissed these reports, stating that he had no prior knowledge of such speculations.

What Is Champai Soren's Next Move

Earlier today, Soren said he experienced "bitter humiliation" as Jharkhand chief minister, which compelled him to seek an alternative path. His comment came shortly after he reached Delhi amid speculation about a potential switch to the BJP. "After so much humiliation, I was forced to look for an alternative path," Soren posted on his social media accounts.

Hemant Soren Accuses BJP Of Poaching MLAs

Meanwhile, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren accused the BJP of "poaching" MLAs and "dividing society." Speaking at a government function in Jharkhand's Godda district, Hemant Soren alleged that the saffron party had brought in people from Gujarat, Assam, and Maharashtra to "spread poison among the tribals, Dalits, backward classes and minorities and make them fight with each other".

INDIA Bloc Won't Face Any Problem If Champai Soren Joins BJP: Congress Leader

In the midst of rumours that Soren might join the BJP, Congress leader Ajoy Kumar claimed that the ruling INDIA bloc in Jharkhand would not face any problem if the JMM veteran crosses over to the saffron camp. Instead, such a move would likely create internal strife within the BJP, Kumar said.

"The ruling alliance will not have any problem as Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will be the face of the INDIA bloc in the assembly poll this year. But this will certainly create a fissure among BJP leaders," the Congress leader said.
