Mumbai Local Viral Video: A group of travellers on a crowded Mumbai local train recently broke into an impromptu session of the classic Bollywood song "Yeh Dil Deewana" from the film Pardes. The impromptu performance has since gone viral, capturing the attention of none other than acclaimed singer Sonu Nigam himself.
The video, which has amassed over 8.5 million views on social media, begins with a passenger in a blue shirt singing the melodious track while standing in the packed Mumbai local train. Gradually, other co-passengers join in, creating a blissful chorus that fills the carriage. As the camera pans right, an elderly man can be seen enthusiastically beating the wall of the train, using it as a makeshift tabla.

Moved by this spontaneous display of musical talent, Sonu Nigam, who lent his vocals to the original song, expressed his delight in the comments section. The renowned singer wrote, "How beautiful. Give me such happiness. God bless everyone," acknowledging the joy and authenticity radiating from the performance.
The video has struck a chord with social media users, who have praised the travellers for finding a moment of respite and expression amid the hustle and bustle of their daily commute. One user commented, "Those unfortunate working men don't get time for lounges and f&b for entertainment. So they enjoy it while commuting to work".

Other individual wrote, "Enough wholesome therapy today" and another stating, "Treat for ears and eyes." The spontaneous performance has also prompted discussions around mental health, with a user remarking, "Men do express-they just need the right environment," and another suggesting, "This is how men become friends."
The infectious melody of "Yeh Dil Deewana," originally composed by the acclaimed music duo Nadeem-Shravan and sung by Sonu Nigam, Heema Sardesai and Shankar Mahadevan, has stood the test of time, remaining a fan-favourite even after nearly 26 years.
