Health Minister Irfan Ansari addressed the House regarding the state of healthcare, announcing that a large-scale recruitment drive for doctors will be conducted soon. This statement was made in response to concerns raised about patients failing to receive treatment due to the absence of medical professionals in health centres.

Key Highlights From The Session

Expansion of Facilities: The Minister announced plans to open more trauma and dialysis centres across the state.

Dhanbad Sadar Hospital: MLA Ragini Singh raised concerns regarding the difficulties faced by kidney patients due to a lack of dialysis centres in Dhanbad and border districts, as well as the filthy conditions at Dhanbad Sadar Hospital. In response, the Minister stated that the old hospital building will be demolished and replaced with a new construction.

Other MLA Demands:

- MLA Mohd Tajuddin demanded the establishment of a trauma centre in Rajmahal.

- MLA Manoj Kumar Yadav highlighted the issue of doctor absenteeism at the Barhi Sub-divisional Hospital.
