Jharkhand Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday stated that several districts of Jharkhand are expected to witness light to heavy rainfall for the next few days. The weather department stated that along with heavy rainfall, multiple districts are likely to witness thunderstorms and gusty winds. The continuous rainfall is likely to provide relief from the scorching heat by reducing the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius. However, the excessive rainfall might lead to waterlogging in the key cities. The weather department has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconveniences.
While providing details, the meteorological department stated that most districts of Jharkhand will receive light to moderate rain till September 10. It stated that the rainfall will commence in most of the districts on Sunday, adding that these regions will continue to witness similar weather conditions till September 10.
