Jharkhand Weather Forecast: Residents are expected to witness morning fog and mist in the coming days as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a significant drop in temperature following a brief respite. According to the latest forecast, the minimum temperature will temporarily rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next 12 hours before quickly dropping by 3-4 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature in Ranchi is also likely to plunge from 12 degrees Celsius to 8 degrees Celsius by December 4.

Jharkhand Weather Forecast: Temperature Likely To Drop In Coming Days

The Meteorological Department has stated that fog and mist will continue to blanket Jharkhand for several days, reducing visibility across the state. While the minimum temperature is expected to rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the next 12 hours, this respite will be short, Jagran.com reported.

Following this short period of relief, the weather will change, with minimum temperatures expected to drop by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius. The highest maximum temperature was 29.9 degrees Celsius in Godda, and the lowest minimum temperature was 8.02 degrees Celsius in Gumla in the last 24 hours.

Ranchi Weather Forecast

The India Meteorological Department has forecast severe cold wave conditions in Ranchi over the next four days, with the minimum temperature expected to plunge from 12 degrees Celsius to 8 degrees Celsius. Residents are expected to witness fog and mist in the morning between December 1 and 4, the report added.

While partial cloud cover is forecast for December 1 and 2, the sky will clear up on December 3 and 4. A minor temperature drop is expected on December 4, with the maximum temperature decreasing by 2 degrees Celsius and the minimum by 1 degree Celsius. Fog or mist is also expected on December 5, although the sky may remain clear thereafter.
