As part of the ongoing ‘Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’ initiative under ‘Seva ka Adhikar Saptah’, Commercial Taxes Department Secretary Amitabh Kaushal on Tuesday inspected a public service camp organised in the Sadma panchayat of Ormanjhi block. During the visit, he interacted directly with villagers and briefed them on major state government schemes, including eligibility criteria, application procedures, and the process for availing benefits.
Kaushal outlined details of schemes such as the Abua Awas Yojana, Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme, Gram Gaadi Yojana, MGNREGA, social security pensions, and various welfare programmes. He emphasised that the government is committed to ensuring that every eligible beneficiary receives benefits promptly and without intermediaries.
At the camp, sanction letters and approvals were distributed for several schemes, including the Abua Awas Yojana, old-age, disability, and widow pensions, dhoti-sari distribution under the Sona-Sobran Scheme, Dakhil-Kharij correction certificates, and benefits sanctioned by various departments. Villagers expressed appreciation for the quick and efficient services offered at the camp.
Deputy Development Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania said the public service camps serve as an important platform to deliver government schemes to beneficiaries, especially those in remote areas. Many applications were processed and resolved on the spot by the administrative team.
Ormanjhi Block Development Officer Kameshwar Bediya, local public representatives, senior departmental officials, and a large number of villagers were present.

Issuing clear directives to officials, Secretary Amitabh Kaushal instructed departments to ensure that 100 per cent of eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of state government schemes. He stressed that it is the responsibility of the administrative machinery to provide information, guidance, and services at a single location on the same day. He also asked officials to further simplify processes related to application, sanction, and benefit distribution and ensure effective follow-up.
