Steps To Clean Your Makeup Brushes

The first step is to produce a makeup brush cleaner by mixing baby shampoo or regular hair shampoo with warm water. Next, thoroughly clean soft bristles, especially for concealers or highlighters, and wash them at least once a week.

All synthetic brushes are durable and can be safely washed in warm water with soap or washing shampoo.

After washing brushes, lather them with soap and hold them under running water while holding them upside down until the lather vanishes. Take care not to let water get inside the brushes, though.

Clean brushes should be gently dried on a microfiber towel before being left to air dry entirely.

After highlighting or contouring, create a cleaning solution with liquid soap and warm water to clean makeup sponges. Squeeze the sponges after submerging them in the solution, and then rinse them under running water. Let them dry completely before cleaning them with a piece of cloth.
