Yoga For Upper Back Pain Relief: Sitting or standing for long hours throughout the day can put a significant strain on the spine health of an individual. Upper back pain is one of the most common spine problems and can cause extreme pain and discomfort. It is usually the one that occurs anywhere between the base of the neck and the bottom of the rib cage. Upper back pain is usually caused due to poor posture, injuries, arthritis and other problems. Yoga Poses For Upper Back Pain Relief
1. Cat-Cow Pose
Known as Chakravakasana, this yoga asana is great to practise when your body demands a break. This yoga pose is known to improve balance and posture and is ideal for back pain relief. Practising this yoga pose helps in relieving tension from the upper body, including neck, back and spine.

2. Downward-Facing Dog
The downward-facing dog yoga pose is also known as Adho Mukha Svanasana and has impressive health benefits. It helps in strengthening and stretching your muscles and relieves pain. It is a traditional forward bend pose that can be performed easily for back pain relief.
3. Extended Triangle

Utthita Trikonasana or extended triangle is a great yoga asana that is extremely easy to perform and is beneficial for various muscle groups. It is a standing yoga pose that lets you carefully move your one leg out to the side and straighten your knee. This yoga pose is known to balance the root chakra, heart and sacral chakra.
4. Sphinx Pose
This yoga asana is known to be the gentlest of all backbends and promotes the stretching of the overall body. This yoga pose helps in strengthening your spine, stimulating the abdominal organs and expanding your chest and shoulders.

5. Cobra Pose
