Neglected feet lead to neglected foot comfort and health.

If we adopt a few simple home remedies into our lifestyle or daily routine, we can gently exfoliate away the dead skin cells, moisturise and nourish our feet. Here, we've compiled some simple home remedies that you can try to remove dead skin from your feet naturally.

Home Remedies To Remove Dead Skin From Feet

Foot Scrubs

To make your feet softer and smoother, you should use foot scrubs that have natural exfoliants like sugar or salt. When using a scrub, apply it gently to wet feet, paying special attention to rough areas like the balls and heels. Rinse and towel dry and enjoy your feet feeling more softened.

Pumice Stone

A pumice stone is a helpful tool for removing dead skin from your feet. You can use it by running it under water and moving it in a circular motion on dry feet or by applying water to both the feet and the stone while you rub off the dead skin. Do not apply too much pressure with the pumice stone or it may cause irritation to your skin.

Epsom Salt Soak

Epsom salt (also known as magnesium sulphate) is also known for its exfoliating and detoxifying properties. To reap the benefits of Epsom salt, place a few tablespoons in a basin of warm water and soak your feet in it for 15-20 minutes. Epsom salt helps to loosen dead skin cells from the feet which makes it easier to remove them after using a scrub or pumice stone for additional exfoliation.
