Cucumber Raita

You can just grate or finely chop the cucumber into small pieces. Mix it with whisked yoghurt and add a pinch of black and white salt, roasted cumin powder and black pepper for flavour. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for that extra refreshing effect.

Beetroot Raita

This is one of the healthiest raita options in the summer season. This raita recipe is loaded with iron, has cooling properties and helps in digestion, which makes it perfect for the hotter months. Make this by grating the beetroot and mixing it with yoghurt, salt, roasted cumin and a blend of other spices as per requirement. Serve cool. 

Mint And Coriander Raita

Loved for its aromatic flavour, this raita is perfect for this season. The presence of mint and coriander leaves makes it a refreshing one. All you need to do is blend fresh mint, coriander leaves, green chilli and a little yoghurt to make a smooth paste. You can also mix it with whisked yoghurt and a pinch of salt to enjoy the cooling, digesting-boosting raita.

Fruit Raita

This raita has the perfect balance of sweet and savoury taste. Made with finely chopped seasonal fruits like apple, banana, pomegranate and pineapple, these are mixed with yoghurt, honey and a pinch of black salt. This can also be enjoyed as a dessert option, which is light as well as healthy.

Boondi Raita

The addition of crisp boondi to whisked yoghurt makes it tantalising to the taste buds. To make this raita, simply soak the boondis in water and add chilled yoghurt to make it soft. Spice it up with black salt, roasted cumin and chaat masala for the tangy twist. Boondi raita pairs excellently with stuffed parathas, pulao as well as biryani.
