Nitanshi Goel At Cannes: Nitanshi Goel, known for her role as Phool Kumari in Laapataa Ladies, made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. The 17-year-old actress walked the red carpet in a regal black and gold gown, making head turns. She represented India at the global stage in a custom creation by Jade by Monica and Karishma. She wore a black and gold embroidered gown, paying tribute to the Indian craftsmanship at the global stage. Her gown represented drama, giving a tough competition to the other veteran attendees. However, Nitanshi’s first look at Cannes was a tribute to the legendary Bollywood icons. 

Nitanshi Goel’s Gown At Cannes

The dazzling black and gold gown was created by Jade by Monica and Karishma and styled by the celebrity stylists duo Shrey and Urja. The gown was crafted with Kasab embroidery, having delicate macrame on a sheer black fabric. The look reflected elegance and heritage, mirroring exactly what Nitanshi wanted to represent at Cannes. Besides, the black tulle base, heavily embellished with gold floral embroidery, added a dramatic touch to the entire outfit. 

The extended hip structure was inspired by the 18th-century sculptural art pieces, but with a modern twist. The long, flowing train added regality and movement to the outfit was nothing but a visual treat. The voluminous middle section contributed to the gown’s architectural silhouette. The corseted bodice brought structure to the look that drew attention to the strapless necklines, making a contrast to the dramatic outfit. Adding a touch of sensuality and classic glamour, the look successfully created an avant-garde movement at the 78th International Film Festival.

Nitanshi Goel’s Makeup And Accessories

Her makeup was kept simple and minimal, making sure the outfit stood out. Her makeup exuded a natural, dewy look with a subtle pop of colours on the lips. Nitanshi’s hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail. 

For accessories, Nitanshi opted for understated but elegant jewels from CaratLane, which created a balance with the regal outfit. Her dainty swirl necklace and serpentine earrings paired perfectly well with the outfit.
