Correct Information About Periods
Menstruation is a natural biological process that signals reproductive health, not a condition that requires isolation or restriction. Scientifically, periods do not make anyone unclean nor do they impose any physical limitations. The body sheds the uterine lining during menstruation and with proper hygiene, there is no reason to avoid normal daily activities, including exercise. Engaging in yoga, walking or light workouts can reduce the severity of cramps, bloating and fatigue. Furthermore, modern menstrual products such as tampons, pads and menstrual cups are designed to be safe, comfortable and discreet, allowing individuals to continue their routine without disruption.
