Eid Al-Fitr Moon Sighting In Saudi Arabia
Eid-ul-Fitr moon sighting in Saudi Arabia will take place on Saturday March 29, 2025 and Eid will be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, 2025. If not, Eid-al-Fitr will take place on March 31, 2025. The National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics in Egypt confirmed that the Shawwal crescent moon will be born immediately after the conjunction at 1:00 PM Cairo time on March 29.
Official Holiday Schedules Of Eid-Ul-Fitr In Saudi Arabia
The Saudi government has announced the list of official holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025:
Public Sector: The last working day is Monday, the 24th day of Ramadan, that is, March 24, 2025.
Private Sector: The holiday will begin after work on Saturday, the 29th day of Ramadan, that is, March 29, 2025
Non-Profit Sector: The holiday will start after work on Saturday, the 29th day of Ramadan, that is March 29, 2025.

Eid Al-Fitr Moon Sighting In India
In India, Eid Al-Fitr is likely to be celebrated on March 31, 2025, if the crescent moon is seen on March 30, 2025. Otherwise, Eid in India will be celebrated on April 1, 2025. Typically, India will celebrate Eid a day after Saudi Arabia.
