Skincare is essential if you desire bright, beautiful, and clear skin, especially before the age of 30. A regular skincare routine is a long-term investment in your skin's health. Prevent premature aging with a skincare program that includes washing, moisturizing, and sun protection.

Prioritizing hydration by drinking enough water and applying moisturizers helps to retain skin elasticity, lowering the probability of fine lines and wrinkles. Applying sunscreen on a regular basis protects against the damaging effects of UV radiation, preventing sun damage that can accelerate aging, lifestyle modifications, a balanced diet, and adequate sleep. You may make your skin more vibrant and clear by implementing all of these healthy and simple changes to your lifestyle.

Dr. Shikha Khare, who is a consultant dermatologist at Yatharth Hospital in Noida Extension, exclusively told Jagran English about the skincare tips before 30 that every woman must follow.

Dr. Shikha said, "Proper skincare is essential for maintaining a healthy and radiant complexion. Begin with a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30, applying it liberally and frequently every 2 to 3 hours, 365 days a week. Sheld yourself further by wearing a black cotton mask, goggles, a wide-brim hat, and using an umbrella."

She further added, "Opt for a moisturizer that is gel- or lotion-based and non-comedogenic, and choose mild cleansers to avoid skin irritation. Refrain from vigorous face scrubbing or harsh exfoliators. Support your skin health with a balanced diet rich in fruits, and consider incorporating oral antioxidants. Ensure adequate hydration and, for specific skin concerns like acne, pigmentation, dandruff, or hair fall, consult a dermatologist instead of relying on over-the-counter medications."

At last, Dr. Shikha said, "Incorporate physical activities into your routine, such as exercises, and embrace relaxation techniques like meditation and yoga to reduce stress levels. Prioritize a full 8 hours of sleep each night for overall well-being. Take precautions against environmental factors by avoiding prolonged sun exposure, dust, sweating, and extremes of temperature. When washing your face, opt for cold water and resist the temptation of hot water baths. In colder weather, wear inner cotton clothes and layer with woolen garments to maintain warmth and protect your skin. By following these guidelines, you can establish a comprehensive skincare routine that promotes both skin health and overall well-being."
