In a conversation with The Daily Jagran, Dr. Meenu Malik |Consult the best skin specialist in Delhi - Aakash Healthcare explained the right skincare routine that one should follow.
According to her, Facewash is just the first step in skincare but it’s not enough. The skin’s needs vary based on age, skin type and lifestyle. A proper routine is essential to keep the skin healthy and radiant over time.
Better Skincare Routine
Cleansing (Facewash)- Washing your face twice a day with a mild facewash is important. However, overwashing can strip the skin of its natural moisture.
Toning- After cleansing, use a toner to balance the skin. It helps tighten pores and gives a fresh appearance.
Moisturising- Every skin type needs hydration. Even people with oily skin should use a light, water-based moisturiser.
Sunscreen- Apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every morning, whether you are stepping out or staying indoors.
Night Care- Before going to bed, thoroughly remove makeup and dirt. Apply serum and night cream to support overnight skin repair.
