New Delhi | Jagran Lifestyle Desk: One of the vibrant and colourful festival, Holi is being celebrated across the country today. People celebrate the festival with much fervour and joy by meeting family and friends and greeting them with different colours. The festival marks the arrival of spring and bids goodbye to the winter season. Holi signifies the victory of good over evil and it is celebrated on the full moon during the month of Phalgun as per Hindi calendar. 

The two-day festival begins with Choti Holi or Holika Dahan where people come together to light bonfire, prepare mouth-watering delicacies. It is followed by Rangwali Holi on the next day where people apply gulal and spray liquid colours on each other along with Bollywood or regional songs in the background accompanied by the sound of drums.
