How Weight Loss Affects Daily Life: Weight loss, especially when achieved through healthy methods, can profoundly impact daily life by improving physical, emotional and social well-being. However, the effects vary depending on the individual’s starting point, goals, and the means used to achieve weight loss.

Physically, weight loss can alleviate strain on the joints, improve mobility, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Better sleep quality and increased energy levels are common benefits, enabling individuals to engage more actively in their routines and hobbies.

In a conversation with Jagran English, Dr. Sukhvinder Singh Saggu, Director Minimal Access, GI & Bariatric Surgery at the CK Birla Hospital, Delhi explained how maintaining a healthy weight can affect your life in positive ways. 

Emotionally, achieving weight loss can boost self-confidence and self-esteem, providing a sense of accomplishment.
