How To Be Happy In Life: Is being happy in life such a big task? Well, in a life full of roller coaster rides, we need to put extra effort into making ourselves happy. Being happy should be an emotion rather than a task. Regardless of everybody’s different versions of happiness, being happy is a major goal for all. Although it might seem to be a task, staying happy requires minimal effort. When you begin to find joy in little things in your life, you begin to stay happy from within. Including certain habits in your daily routine can make a huge difference, make you feel calm and increase feelings of happiness. Here are some everyday habits that you should include in your routine to stay happy.

Smile Often
Never go out with a dull face and always carry a smile as smiling causes the brain to release dopamine and endorphins that increase the feelings of happiness. Smiling more often makes you more approachable and people associate with you more.
Exercise
According to Mayo Clinic, physical activity stimulates many brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier, more relaxed and less anxious. You also may feel better about your appearance and yourself when you exercise regularly, which can boost your confidence and improve your self-esteem.

Get Enough Sleep

When you get adequate sleep, you feel more energetic and active which furthermore makes you feel positive and happy. On the other hand, when you work on lack of sleep, you are more likely to feel tired, find it hard to concentrate and experience feelings of sadness.
Practise Gratitude
Gratitude is strongly associated with greater happiness. Practising gratitude regularly helps in feeling more positive feelings, releasing stress, improving health, and building strong relationships with oneself. When you begin to reflect on positive things in your life rather than negative, you experience more happiness.
Journal
From stress relief to managing anxiety, practising journaling is a great habit. Journaling is a powerful practice that enables self-improvement and increases the likelihood of happiness. You can simply begin by jotting down a few thoughts before you go to bed.
