What Is A Sports Injury?
Sports injuries are divided into two main categories: acute injuries and overuse injuries. Acute injuries, including sprains, strains, and fractures, can be induced owing to physical activity and traumatic events. Overuse injuries are seen due to repetitive stress on muscles, tendons, and joints, causing excruciating pain if not managed promptly with timely intervention. Shockingly, knee injuries are among the most common in sports like soccer and basketball due to constant running.
