Healthy Juices For Constipation: Constipation is usually an uncomfortable digestive condition that includes infrequent bowel movements or difficult passage of stools that persist for several weeks or longer. Mayo Clinic states that though occasional constipation is very common, some people experience chronic constipation that can interfere with their ability to go about their daily tasks. Chronic constipation may also cause people to strain excessively to have a bowel movement.

Some common symptoms of constipation include infrequent bowel movements, hard or lumpy stools, straining to have bowel movements, feeling blocked up or like you can’t fully empty your bowels, needing help to empty your rectum, such as with your hands or fingers among others.

To get relief from constipation, the Cleveland Clinic recommends adults drink just a half to a full cup of juice, once per day, preferably in the morning. Including some healthy drinks or juices in your diet can help ease and get relief from constipation and promote a healthy digestive system.
