Walking Or Running: We usually look for less time-consuming but effective exercises when it comes to fitness workouts. Some of us prefer walking while others take their time out to run for an hour from their day to maintain their fitness. Walking is a low-impact exercise that helps burn calories and keeps a check on your cardiovascular health. On the other hand, running is a high-impact exercise that burns more calories than walking, boosts heart health and helps maintain a healthy weight. But it is difficult to decide on which exercise is better for burning more fat. Let’s find out below.
Benefits Of Walking
Walking reduces arthritis pain and, if done five to six times a week, can even prevent arthritis from starting in the first place. The muscles that support the joints, especially the knees and hips, which are especially prone to osteoarthritis, are strengthened and lubricated by walking. Cutting calories results in the loss of some muscle in addition to body fat.
Our muscles burn more calories per day than fat does because they have a higher metabolic activity. Walking is a great method to lift your spirits and let go of bad feelings like stress, rage, anxiety, and hopelessness. Since walking doesn't tax our muscles or minds, it's a low-impact exercise that elevates our mood and lowers stress.

Benefits Of Running
Daily running can help maintain cardiovascular health and aerobic fitness because it controls oxygen delivery to the heart and lungs. Similar to other aerobic exercises, running may require your heart and lungs to pump more oxygen into your blood and muscles than normal. This contributes to the improvement of cardiovascular health by increasing the efficiency of your heart and lungs.
Regular activity, such as running, can help decrease blood pressure and blood sugar levels. For those with type 2 diabetes, running can help manage their weight, increase their energy, and reduce their risk of heart disease.
