Sawan 2025 Plants: The Sawan month starts on July 11, 2025, and ends on August 9, 2025. This is the time when India prepares to honour Lord Shiva with deep devotion and spiritual practices. During this holy month, devotees worship Bholenath (Shiva) by offering prayers and keeping fast. Bael Tree (Bel Patra)
The bael tree holds immense spiritual significance in Shaivism. Its trifoliate leaves, which are also known as Bel Patra, are considered one of the most sacred offerings to Lord Shiva. Planting a bael tree at home during Sawan is believed to eliminate poverty and increase abundance. According to Vastu principles, it also exudes positive energy that helps to restore balance and harmony in the living space.

Tulsi Plant (Holy Basil)
Although Tulsi leaves are not directly offered to Lord Shiva, this sacred plant is revered as a manifestation of Goddess Lakshmi and is widely grown in Hindu homes. Also known as Holy Basil, planting Tulsi during Sawan and performing daily puja around it is believed to invite positivity, prosperity and abundance of wealth and happiness into the family.
Shami Plant
The Shami (Prosopis) plant is considered sacred to both Lord Shiva and Shani Dev (the god of karma and discipline). Growing this plant in the month of Sawan is said to eliminate negativity and bring peace into the home. Moreover, it is believed to attract financial stability and blessings from both deities, especially when worshipped regularly during the month.

Aak Plant (Madar)
The Aak plant is known for its white-flowered variety, is a beloved plant of Lord Shiva. Growing Aak during Sawan is believed to bring continuous divine grace upon the household.
