Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a wellness hack of eating a clove of raw garlic every morning on an empty stomach. Known as the timeless remedy, which is backed by science and traditional use. Actress Soha credits this simple habit with her strong immunity, improved digestion and overall vitality. It is to be noted that raw garlic is loaded with potent compounds like allicin, which have antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. In her post, Soha mentions the benefits of eating a clove of raw garlic on an empty stomach.

The actress took to Instagram and shared a video of herself eating raw garlic. She captioned the video stating, “So for the past four weeks I have been starting my mornings with a little bite — of raw garlic. Why? Because this tiny clove is a powerhouse for immunity, gut health, inflammation, and overall balance. It’s ancient wisdom that still holds strong.”

The actress also shared how she consumes it, stating, “I take one raw clove on an empty stomach, chew for as long as I can to activate the magic compound allicin (tell me your best time), and then swallow with water. If you are not brave enough to chew, you can crush it and let it rest for ten minutes.”
She also cautioned that raw garlic is not for everyone, especially those who are on “blood thinners, have tummy sensitivity or are planning surgery, always check with your doc first!”

The actress further confessed, “Garlic breath is real, but so are the benefits — so I suggest a good brushing of the teeth and a healthy dose of mouthwash after.”
Benefits Of Eating Raw Garlic In Morning
The small, pungent kitchen ingredient is a great source of allicin, which can help enhance the function of the immune system. Although, as per some studies, roasting, boiling, heating or pickling garlic can significantly reduce its allicin content, thus eating raw garlic provides better health benefits.
Studies suggest that garlic may help reduce inflammation in the body and boost immunity, owing to the presence of antioxidants and sulphur-containing compounds like allicin. Moreover, it can also reduce blood pressure and decrease cholesterol levels to support heart health. Garlic reduces the fasting blood sugar levels and improves blood sugar management, which may be beneficial for managing type 2 diabetes.

How To Consume Raw Garlic?
Crush the raw garlic a little and chew or swallow with water or milk. You can add it to toast or salad or dunk it in honey to make it taste a little better. Remember not to have more than 1-2 cloves per day.
