2026 Tesla Model Y Price In India: The 2026 Tesla Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs 50.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, the brand has discontinued the Model Y Long-Range model in the country, which was priced at Rs 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Model Y Premium RWD costs Rs 9 lakh less than the previous entry-level model, whereas it is Rs 11 lakh cheaper than the top-spec Model Y six-seater variant. 2026 Tesla Model Y Premium RWD: Interior & Features
The brand is offering the 2026 Tesla Model Y Premium RWD with options of either an all-black or a Zen Grey interior theme. The brand claims that the premium RWD model has a storage capacity of 2,138mm. Additionally, the new variant comes equipped with a 16-inch central touchscreen infotainment system and 8-inch screens for rear passengers. The brand also claims that the screen has been tweaked for enhanced response. It comes packed with features such as all LED lighting, a panoramic sunroof, LED ambient lighting, reclining and foldable rear seats, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and more.

2026 Tesla Model Y Premium RWD: Range & Specs
The battery specs of the Tesla Model Y Premium RWD have not yet been revealed. However, the Model Y in international markets comes equipped with a 64 kWh battery pack. The brand claims a range of 500 Km for the Tesla Model Y Premium RWD, and it can go from standstill to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. The Model Y Premium RWD has a top speed of 201 km/h. It supports fast charging speeds of up to 175 kW and can be topped up with 238 km of range in just 15 minutes.

2026 Tesla Model Y Premium RWD: Full-Self Driving
It is worth noting that the 2026 Tesla Model Y Premium will also be offered with the brand’s popular Full-Self Driving (FSD) capability. However, the customers will be required to pay an additional amount of Rs 6 lakh. It is also worth noting that the FSD function by Tesla currently supports only the automatic parking function. The regulatory approvals in India are currently for the FSD technology, and thus, it doesn’t work properly.
