New MG Hector Features:  The all-new MG Hector has been launched in India with prices starting from Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for select units. The new MG Hector has received several changes in terms of exterior and interior. Let’s take a look at the pics of the new MG Hector to have a better understanding of the changes it has received in the form design and cabin.

New MG Hector Design

The contour of the new MG Hector remains the same as the outgoing MG Hector. The front fascia of the MG Hector remains largely the same. However, it gets a new Aura hex grille at the front. The new design elements on the Hector also include a new Aura sculpt bumper and a new set of alloy wheels.

New MG Hector Interior

The new MG Hector retains several features from the outgoing model, such as ventilated seats, rear AC vents, and an electrically powered tailgate. The new MG Hector has also received two different dual-tone interior themes: An Ice Grey theme for the 5-seater iterations, and a purple-tan shade for Hector Plus trims.

New MG Hector Features

The MG Hector features the same 14-inch vertically-placed touchscreen inside the cabin. However, the screen is now faster in terms of touch responses and operations, as it gets the new RAM boost technology. Other notable features include Infinity speakers by Harman, a 360-degree camera with a wheel view, i-smart with more than 100 voice commands, a wireless charger, walk-away auto car lock, and unlock, and more.

New MG Hector Touch Gestures

The new MG Hector has also received some major changes in terms of technological features. The all-new Hector also features touch gestures, which provide control of temperature, fan speed, and music volume in just simple swipes. The new MG Hector also gets a Bluetooth digital Key, and comes with an i Smart connected car suite with more than 70 functions.

New MG Hector Powertrain

While the MG Hector has received some changes in the form of design and interior, it is completely unchanged in terms of powertrain. The new MG Hector retains the multiple powertrain options offered with the outgoing model. The outgoing model of the Hector comes equipped with a choice of either a 1.5-litre turbo petrol or a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. The Hector is also available with a 48V mild hybrid technology, and the transmission options include a manual transmission as well as a CVT transmission.
