Nissan Tekton SUV: 2026 is all set to witness some of the most-awaited car launches. The 2026 Renault Duster and the Nissan Tekton are also included in the list of SUVs slated for launch next year. While Nissan has not yet confirmed the exact date for the launch of the Tekton SUV, the Duster is set to be launched in the country on January 26, 2026. The 2026 Renault Duster and Nissan Tekton will rival each other in the Indian market, and both of these SUVs were recently spied testing together.
Renault Duster & Nissan Tekton: What’s Similar?
To begin with, the Renault Duster is a compact SUV, and the Tekton by Nissan is also a compact SUV. Other than the segment, both of these SUVs also share the same platform. The Nissan Tekton was unveiled recently in the country, and it shares the CMF-B platform with the upcoming Renault Duster.

Renault Duster & Nissan Tekton: Features
A prototype of the Renault Duster 2026 spotted earlier suggests that the SUV might get features such as a triple-screen setup, a dual-zone climate control system, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, a 4x4 driving configuration, and more. The Nissan Tekton is expected to come equipped with a Front-Wheel drive configuration, and it is expected to feature a 10.1-inch touch screen infotainment system with a 7-inch fully digital driver’s display. It is also expected to come equipped with features such as a 360-degree camera, multiple driver modes, rear AC vents, and an automatic climate control system.

Renault Duster & Nissan Tekton: Engine Specs
The brand has not yet shared any information regarding the engine specs of the 2026 Renault Duster. However, we expect to feature multiple powertrain options, including a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The Duster is also expected to offer a hybrid petrol engine. As per a report by Autocar Professional, the Nissan Tekton will draw its power from a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine that can generate a peak power and torque output of 154hp and 250 Nm, respectively.
