Tata Curvv: Tata Motors, one of the largest automobile manufacturers in India is all set to enter the fiercely competitive compact SUV market once again. Tata’s upcoming model, the Curvv SUV has been undergoing testing for a while and was recently showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in February 2024. Tata Curvv will go head-to-head with competitors like the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Citroen Basalt, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and MG Astor.

Ahead of the official launch, a prototype of the Tata Curvv has been spotted testing again on Indian roads. A video on social media reveals that the SUV will have blind-spot assist, similar to the Tata Harrier and Safari. This suggests that the Tata Curvv might potentially have a full ADAS suite.

Additionally, a test mule of the Tata Curvv EV was also recently spied near Coimbatore during testing. The Curvv EV will be positioned above the Nexon EV in Tata Motors' lineup and will be available through the new EV-only dealerships Tata Motors has opened recently. Tata has confirmed that the electric variant of the Curvv SUV will be launched first, followed by the ICE variant.

Tata Curvv - Design 

Talking about the design of the Curvv, it is quite familiar from the front as it resembles the Nexon facelift. However, there are significant changes on the side profile and rear. The side features a new coupe-like profile with a sloping rear portion, and the rear showcases new LED tail lamps.

Tata Curvv - Interior 

In terms of interior, as seen in spy images, the cabin will feature a standalone touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, touch-based HVAC controls, auto-dimming IRVM, and purple accents on the dashboard, similar to the Nexon.

Tata Curvv - Engine Specs 

Tata Curvv ICE variant will be equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, offered with manual and automatic gearboxes. The turbo petrol engine is capable of producing a power output of 123 bhp of power and 225 Nm of torque and the diesel engine is capable of generating 113 bhp of power and 260 Nm of torque.
