MG Hector Black Storm Edition: MG Motor has launched the Black Storm edition of its popular SUV Hector. The Hector Black Storm is MG's third special edition model in India, following the Black Storm editions of the Astor and Gloster SUVs. The MG Hector Black Storm edition has been launched with its prices ranging between Rs 21.24 lakh and Rs 22.75 lakh (ex-showroom) and is based on the Sharp Pro trim of the SUV. It is available with seating configurations for five, six, or seven passengers.

In terms of design, the MG Hector Black Storm features a sleek all-black exterior with red highlights, giving it a sporty appearance. The SUV has dark chrome brand logos, a dark chrome Argyle-inspired diamond mesh front grille, dark chrome skid plate inserts, a dark chrome tailgate and dark chrome claddings. The headlight units have black bezels and the taillights are smoked for a stylish look. Glossy black door garnish and black finish roof rails complete the exterior design, along with 18-inch alloy wheels with red brake callipers.

Moving inside, the Hector Black Storm boasts an all-black theme with gunmetal accents. The dashboard and centre console feature gunmetal grey treatment, while the seats are covered in new all-black leather upholstery. The Hector Black Storm also boasts features like a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7.0-inch digital driver display, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, powered driver seat, ADAS technology, 360-degree camera, six airbags, auto turn indicator, and more.
MG Hector Black Storm - Powertrain
Talking about its powertrain, the MG Hector Black Storm is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine delivers a power output of 142 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine produces a power output of 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Both these engines are paired with CVT and manual gearboxes respectively.
