Tesla Model Y In India: Tesla entered India in July 2025, and it has been struggling to make a strong impression in the Indian market ever since. Now, the brand has announced a Switch and Save program to attract Indian buyers towards its Tesla Model Y electric SUV. Prospective buyers can save up to Rs 3 lakh on buying a new Tesla Model Y. However, there’s a twist.
Tesla Model Y Switch And Save Program
As informed earlier, the brand is offering benefits of up to Rs 3 lakh to the prospective buyers of the Tesla Model Y. However, the benefit is available only in the form of an exchange bonus, and it will be offered only to people switching from an ICE vehicle to the Tesla Model Y. Buyers can also combine the exchange bonus with the brand’s finance plan, which starts from a Rs 6 lakh down payment with EMIs starting from Rs 49,000.

Tesla Model Y: Variants And Pricing
The Tesla Model Y is available in a total of two variants: the standard Rear Wheel Drive and the long-range Rear Wheel Drive. The standard Rear Wheel Drive variant is priced at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the long-range Rear Wheel Drive variant is priced at Rs 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tesla Model Y: Range & Features
The Model Y comes equipped with a 15.4-inch touchscreen inside the cabin, which controls most functions in the car. It also gets a panoramic glass sunroof and an electrical liftgate. The Model Y boasts some of the most advanced ADAS features, which include a blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, and more. The standard variant of the Model Y has a claimed range of up to 500 kilometres, whereas the long-range model of the SUV is claimed to deliver up to 622 kilometres in a full charge.
