Raghopur Election 2025 Voting Live Updates: 64.01% Polling Recorded By 5 PM As Phase 1 Concludes

Raghopur Election 2025 Voting Phase 1 Live Updates: The first phase of Bihar Assembly elections has concluded. Raghopur, one of the most high-stakes constituencies, sees RJD leader and INDIA bloc chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav in the fray.
Situated right across the Ganga from rural Patna, the largely riverine area of Vaishali district is no stranger to high-profile contests, having elected at least two chief ministers in the past, Lalu Prasad in 1995 and Rabri Devi five years later.
In this Bihar Assembly Election, Yadav is looking to make a hat-trick from Raghopur as his political debut was from this seat in 2015. In 2020, he retained the seat to become a two-time MLA.
Against him are BJP's Satish Kumar, who defeated Yadav's mother and former CM Rabri Devi in 2010. In 2020, he lost to Tejashwi but insisted that his defeat at the hands of the young leader, by a huge margin of over 38,000 votes, was 'mainly because of a split in the NDA'.
As both have again locked horn in this election, it is worth seeing how it unfolds. Polling percentage in Raghopur crossed 50 per cent mark as it was recorded at 64.01 per cent till 5 PM.
