Raghopur Election 2025 Voting Live Updates: 64.01% Polling Recorded By 5 PM As Phase 1 Concludes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that members of RJD in Bihar have been schooled in "jungle raaj pathsala" where they learned "A se Aparhan (abduction), F se Firoti (ransom), R se Rangdari (lumpen elements)."

PM Modi also termed Lalu Yadav's family and Rahul Gandhi's family the two "most corrupt families," suggesting that the amount under Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana would've gone to their bank account.

"Imagine if Bihar's most corrupt family and the country's most corrupt family, both out on bail, were in power, this money would have ended up in the coffers of Congress and RJD leaders, not in the sisters' accounts," the Prime Minister said.

Raghopur Election Voting Live Updates: As per data from the Election Commission of India, Bihar registered a voter turnout of 53.77 per cent till 3 pm. during the first phase of the assembly elections. Begusarai reported the highest polling at 59.82 per cent, whereas Patna saw the lowest at 48.69 per cent.

Raghopur Election Voting Live Update: Polling percentage in Raghopur crossed 50 per cent mark as it was recorded at 55.20 per cent till 3 PM. 

Raghopur Election Polling Live: RJD has alleged systematic deprivation of electors from casting their votes. "The Vaishali district administration has systematically stopped the operation of vehicles heading to Raghoopur via the 6-lane bridge and boats from Kaccha Dargah, thereby depriving hundreds of voters in Raghoopur of their voting rights! Even upon showing voter cards, the police is not agreeing. By what authority are voters being deprived of their voting rights," RJD alleged.

Raghopur Election Voting Live Update: The polling in Raghopur has been recorded at 43.31 per cent till 1 PM. Earlir at 11 AM, it was  27.65%

Raghopur, numbered 128 among Bihar Assembly constituencies, is located in Vaishali district. It falls under the Hajipur Lok Sabha seat and is a general constituency with no reservation.

Raghopur Election Voting Live: According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), the polling percentage in Bihar Assembly Elections is recorded at 27.65 per cent till 11 AM. 

Raghopur Election Voting Live Update: The polling percentage recorded in Raghopur till 11 AM was 28.79 per cent. Earlier till 9 AM, the polling was over 13 per cent 

RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has made an appeal to Bihar voters seeking a change of the government. He said, "The roti should keep turning on the tawa, otherwise it will burn. 20 years is too long! Now, for the youth government and the new Bihar, a Tejashwi government is extremely necessary."

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, along with two other Election Commissioners (ECs) and other officials, has been monitoring the first phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections. A close watch is being kept at all polling booths.

Tejashwi Yadav cast his vote in Patna and urged voters to step out of their houses and vote. He said, "Everyone should come out of their houses and vote for change, vote for development, vote for jobs." 

Raghopur Polling Live Update: 13.78 per cent vote cast till 9:00 AM as Raghopur to decide fate of Mahagathbandhan CM candidate Tejashwi Yadav.

After casting vote, Tejashwi said, "14 November ko nayi sarkaar banne wali hai." Tejashwi is locked in contest with BJP's Satish Kumar. Kumar had earlier defeated Tejashwi's mother and former CM Rabri Devi from Raghopur in 2010.
