PSU Bank Stocks Today: Amid a bloodbath in the domestic stock market, the public sector banks' stocks plummeted over 7 per cent during the intraday trade on March 9. In the afternoon trade, the BSE PSU Bank index was down 4.9 per cent to 2,903.26 as shares of Bank of Maharashtra, Bank of India, Union Bank, Indian Bank, Canara Bank, SBI and other government banks tanked sharply.

Meanwhile, the key equity indices recovered a bit of their losses. At the time of writing, BSE Sensex was trading at 77,057, down 1,860 points or 2.37 per cent, while NSE's Nifty50 was at 23,894.60, down 555.85 points or 2.27 per cent.

PSU Banks Stocks Today

- Bank of Maharashtra Share Price, at the time of writing, was down 7.26 per cent to Rs 65.05 per share.

- Bank of India Shares were trading at 149.80, down 6.17 per cent.

- Union Bank Shares were lower by 5.5 per cent to 178.20.

- Indian Bank's share price was at Rs 891.10, down 5.15 per cent.

- Canara Bank Shares were at Rs 138.60, down 5 per cent

- State Bank of India shares were trading at Rs 1,088.80, down 4.79 per cent.

- Central Bank Share Price was doing business at Rs 35.51, down 4.44 per cent.

- Punjab National Bank Shares were trading at Rs 114.20, down 4.27 per cent.

- UCO Bank shares were at Rs 26.08, down 4.05 per cent.

- Bank of Baroda and Indian Overseas Bank shares were down over 3 per cent.

Crude Price Today

Amid a worsening situation in the Middle East, Brent Crude has not only surpassed the $100per barrel milestone, but it has soared to nearly $120. At the time of writing, Brent Crude price was trading at $117.73 per barrel, up 27 per cent pf $25. Similarly, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was up by $25.6 or 28.2 per cent to $116.5 per barrel.
