Ashes 2025: Australia has won the third Test match by 82 runs. They are leading the series 3-0 and have also retained the Ashes.
The visitors suffered a batting collapse once again on the last day of the third Test match. As they tried to save the game with 4 wickets remaining on the last day, they gifted their wickets on a batting surface and helped the host take the lead.
It took just 11 days for the host to win this series as they have retained the title for the 4th time. It's also the fifth consecutive time that the Ben Stokes-led side has failed to win this series, and that's a new low in his captaincy.
Jamie Smith's dismissal turned the tide in the hosts' favour, who gave Australian bowlers a hard time. Both Smith and Will Jacks batted for 50 overs and for a while helped England bounce back.
