Captain Ayush Mhatre, Aaron George, and Vaibhav Suryavanshi have all returned to the dugout, losing three wickets in the first 25 balls, with Suryavanshi falling victim to his own aggressive batting. 

 Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre are out in the middle to start the chase for India. Ali Raza will open the attack for Pakistan here.

Pakistan have posted a massive total of 347/8 in their 50 overs on the back of Sameer Minhas' 172-run knock. Deepesh Devendran was the pick of the bowlers as he took three wickets for 83 runs in his 10 overs.

Even if early wickets fall, India will take confidence from a middle order that has consistently stepped up heading into the clash against Pakistan. Hyderabad’s Aaron George has been the stabilising force, striking three consecutive half-centuries and holding innings together through the middle overs at a brisk pace. He has found solid backing in left-hander Vihaan Malhotra, who adds balance to the line-up and comes into the final on the back of an unbeaten 61 against Sri Lanka.

Pakistan’s main weapon heading into the final is their pace-driven bowling unit. Abdul Subhan has spearheaded the attack with consistency, well backed by left-armer Mohammad Sayyam and the sharp Ali Raza, giving them depth and bite with the new ball. In spin, left-arm spinner Niqab Shafiq caught the eye with a telling two-wicket spell against India in the group stage, while leg-spinner Ahmed Hussain provides a contrasting option as Pakistan look to slow down India’s powerful batting lineup.

With the ball, India have found a spearhead in pacer Deepesh Devendran, who is joint-leading the wicket charts with 11 scalps alongside Pakistan’s Abdul Subhan. Operating consistently in the 130 kmph-plus range, Deepesh has troubled batters with disciplined lines and movement upfront. His tournament-defining spell came against Malaysia, where he claimed a brilliant 5/22, while against Pakistan he rattled the top order by striking in successive overs, including the prized wicket of leading run-scorer Sameer Minhas.
