Young batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi once again made headlines on April 25 with another record-breaking performance. He scored a brilliant century off just 36 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad, which was the third-fastest hundred in the league. In this innings, he hit 5 fours and 12 sixes before getting out for 103 runs.

With this knock, he moved to the top of the Orange Cap list with 357 runs in 8 innings. Earlier in the match, he was dropped by Aniket Verma and quickly reached his half-century in just 15 balls. He had done something similar earlier in the season as well.

At just 15 years old, Sooryavanshi has already become the youngest player to score 1000 runs in T20 cricket. He has continued his strong form from last season, where he impressed after scoring 175 runs in 80 balls during India’s Under-19 World Cup win.

There is also talk that he may be picked for India’s T20I tour to Ireland in June, which could make him the youngest player to represent the country.

Sooryavanshi's heroics vs IPL Giants

This season, he has played several explosive innings, including 78 off 26 balls against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, 52 off 17 balls against Chennai Super Kings, and 39 off 14 balls against Mumbai Indians. He has shown no fear of big names and has played confidently against top bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Josh Hazlewood, even hitting Bumrah for a six on the very first ball he faced.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's century helped the Rajasthan Royals put on board a strong 228 for six against Sunrisers Hyderabad in an IPL match. Sooryavanshi got plenty of support from Dhruv Jurel, who made a 35-ball 51 and, helped the teenager milk 112 runs for the second wicket.

In the death overs, Donovan Ferreira (33) played some big shots as RR went past the 200-run mark.
