The investigation into the car blast near Delhi's Red Fort has uncovered a widespread and organised terrorist network. Initially considered an isolated incident, it has now emerged that it was part of a larger conspiracy by a module active for four years.

According to NIA sources, the network of the arrested accused was not limited to Delhi. The module had planned attacks in several major cities across the country. Specifically, preparations were being made to target outlets of an international coffee chain to generate maximum publicity and spread terror.

'White-Collar' Network: Doctors Arrested In Terror Probe

The most shocking aspect of this module is its profile. The investigation has revealed that three doctors are among those arrested. Agencies state that this group had been operating quietly for the past four years, using their professional identities to advance their agenda.

Jaish-e-Mohammed Connection And Training Abroad

The investigation has also revealed potential links to Jaish-e-Mohammed. Agencies claim that the Red Fort car blast was part of the same comprehensive plan, intended to be carried out in a series of major attacks. It has also emerged that some members of the network had received training in Turkey and were in contact with foreign handlers.

Role Of Al-Falah University And Explosives Recovery

Investigating agencies have revealed that the module used the campus of Al-Falah University in Faridabad to assemble explosives and prepare IEDs. During the operation, approximately 2,900 kg of explosive material was recovered.

Timely Action By Jammu And Kashmir Police Averts Attacks

The investigation intensified after Jammu and Kashmir Police received intelligence in October 2025, leading to several significant clues. According to sources, the vigilance and timely action of the Jammu and Kashmir Police prevented potential attacks in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana during November and December. The agencies are now conducting an in-depth investigation into other potential members and funding sources of the entire network to eliminate such conspiracies from the root.
