Delhi Air Pollution: Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) improved marginally on Tuesday morning, dropping to 378 in the ‘very poor’ category from the ‘severe’ zone at 7 am, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). After days of choking smog, the slight improvement offered limited relief to residents who had been enduring hazardous air conditions.
However, pollution levels remained alarmingly high in several areas. Wazirpur recorded the worst air quality with an AQI of 430, followed by Vivek Vihar at 415. Mundka, Anand Vihar and Nehru Nagar also continued to remain in the ‘severe’ category, with AQI readings ranging between 420 and 424.
