The Tis Hazari District Court has issued an order halting ongoing illegal construction on a green area in Sanjay Nagar, following a civil suit. The court directed the respondent, Jainendra Kumar, and others to immediately stop the construction work.
The civil suit was filed by Bram Health Care Private Limited, which operates the NKS Super Speciality Hospital. Advocate Vishnu Joshi, representing the hospital, informed the court that the illegal construction is being carried out on government, public, and agricultural land near the hospital's Gate No. 4, directly opposite an MCD park.
The petitioner alleged that Jainendra Kumar is leading the construction. It was argued that despite a notice being issued by the Municipal Corporation (MCD) to local police on October 13, 2025, regarding the construction, the work continued.
The hospital also submitted photographs as proof, which the court considered prima facie sufficient to warrant the order.

The court has now directed the MCD to inspect the site and file a detailed report on the matter by November 17.
